Afternoon at the Lake
On Sunday I had no photo for my project 52, so I decided to stop at our local lake with my camera on the way to buy groceries. I was playing around with shallow DOF, just giving a hint of the lake. And concentrating more on the flora surrounding it.
As my DOF was so shallow and it was nearing evening the far bank of the lake came out quite dark. I brought some of the green back with various textures. I love the painterly effect they add.
Check out the ant at the end of the branch on the first one. I didn't see it till I was editing my photos.
By the way I got covered in prickles, the joy of climbing around in the bushes to get a shot.
