Month in Macro 15 / 30

Gloriosa or Glory Lily, what an exquisitely beautiful flower!
This was my father's favourite flower, he passed away from an aggressive prostate cancer 5 years ago.
I loved taking time to photograph this beautiful flower from my parents garden.

Added to the Creative Exchange; as the theme states it really was taken with "My Camera in One Hand, My Heart in the Other.”

Linked up with Sweet Shot Tuesday as this is my favourite photo for the week.

Thank you for the lovely comments! They are very much appreciated!
I forgot to mention in the post but these are actually taken with a 50mm 1.8 together with an extension tube 25mm. I have a post on my blog about extension tubes if anyone is interested.

Wowie! I love the color of the flower how you sort of divided it.

All your Macro's delightful.
