Scavenger Hunt - Vintage, Quote, Nature's Own, People & Photographer's Choice

I realised this week that I haven't been taking care of myself, I've been stressing and not sleeping well, and it caught up with me. I got really run down and sick. For those that worry, I went to the doctor and she sent me for a blood test to make sure it's nothing more serious. But I'm sure it's just that I let myself get run down. Completely bad timing because it was also my birthday this week. So we had to put plans for a lovely romantic dinner on hold. We did go out for lunch to the Botanic Gardens though and I got to try out my birthday present...a Canon 100mm 2.8 L Macro lens!!! :-)
I'm still figuring out how to use it but I'm in love!!
Anyway down to this week's Scavenger Hunt!

1. Vintage
I'm in love with this little baby too! My present from my son. My husband ordered it on Etsy from the US. A Kodak Brownie Holiday Camera 1953 - 1957.

2. Word or Quote
Taken with my new macro lens. This butterfly was actually tiny, about the size of my thumbnail. It's on a Plumbago hedge, so you get an idea from the size of the leaf.

3. Nature's Own
Also with my new lens. I love that you can use it as a general lens too. It's so much smoother too.

4. People
My people! One from the archives this week. My mum, son and husband at Rainbow Beach.

5. Photographer's Choice
Happy Birthday to me!!  Yummy...my cupcake at lunch! Taken with my new lens of course!

That vintage camera is so cool, and I love the texture on your photo of it.

The quote picture is gorgeous, as is nature's own. I wish we had flowers around here!

Your people shot is wonderful. I love everything about it.

Happy belated birthday Sara. You are well taken care of with your new toys....How fun. I'm sorry you haven't ben feeling well. I always suggest getting your thyroid checked. That one little gland can wreak havoc. I like the angle you are down on the sand at the beach. That's a great perspective. Hope you start to feel better soon. You have another beautiful set here.
