We were all sick this week, nothing serious, just another winter cold. But we had a pretty quiet week.

I love the atmospheric perspective of this scene. It makes me laugh though because it looks like we have a clear unimpeded view but in reality I could barely find anywhere to shoot without trees in the way and they weren't nice trees for framing the shot.

We thought it was so peculiar that they were sitting like this, but we realised they were scoping out the left over fries at a nearby table. I had switched lenses when they flew down to grab the fries so I didn't catch it. :-(

The last cupcake from the weekend with a pot of French Earl Grey tea.
Pink Lady apple, I so didn't know what to photograph today. My son thinks it's hilariously funny that they're called Pink Lady, he's at that age!
Sometimes you just need a bit of luck! I only got one shot at this bee before it buzzed away!
Taken with a 50mm 1.8 together with an extension tube 25mm. Not cropped at all.
I have a post about my extension tube here.
A bit of book love!

Day Twenty Eight
I sewed my son a cubby house a couple of years ago. It fits over our dining table and has windows and a fold up flap for a door. I love that he still likes to play in it!

So many beautiful photos Sara! I think I like the first best. Hope you are all feeling well very soon.
So many wonderful shot but the second one is top of all. It is so peaceful, watching that is like going to woods, no noice no people just serene:)
Sara, the second shot from Day 23 is truly one of the most interesting and beautiful I've ever seen. It is absolutely gorgeous!
I sure hope that everyone is feeling better now, and that you have a fantastic weekend!
Love them all Sara! The shadows are wonderful in the first shot! Well done enjoyed visiting here!
Sara I just love that 2nd shot :)
You already know I love your heart/journal photo - but I'm also strangely drawn to the apple. So simple yet so lovely! :)
Love love love your pictures and the processing. Thank you for sharing the information
All these photos are amazing! The one of the bee though is awesome! It has inspired me to research extension tubes. I think I NEED to have one! :D
Hi, i've not visited your blog for a little while. I love your pictures, especially the 2nd one. It's beautiful. The one with the bee is also amazing. Your wee boy is so cute!
I love the shot of the lotus flowers, so beautiful! I'm itching to learn how to process photos and give them those lovely textures. Confused about which version of photoshop to get (and of course it's so darned expensive, that's the biggest deterrent!)
Yes, your little boy does look like a sailor, he's adorable! :)
Kookaburra's are so awesome, I saw them for the first them when I went to Sydney to meet my sister. I love all Australian wildlife actually especially the tawny frog mouth!
