Journey Around the sun - Days 11 through 17

I'm being kicked off the computer tonight and I haven't finished editing last weeks photos. But I'm posting what I have. Probably good, as otherwise I'd spend ages tweaking.
Check out my Scavenger Hunt too, most of these I took this weekend, day 16 and 17.  I took car light trails on Saturday, day 16 but I'm posting these with my 'I learned' halfway through the week.

I wanted to take a photo of story time but the light was so bad I had to open up my aperture almost wide open and bump up my ISO to 600 so I got heaps of noise. I'll try it again another time. Anyone got any tips?

We went into town today. It was an overcast day and rained off and on. I love coffees. That's our umbrella behind the coffee.

I saw a photo of travelator last week. It looked so cool almost Science Fiction like. I loved the style and wanted to try a similar shot on the escalators in town. I so nearly laid on the ground to take this shot and people were staring at me. It didn't turn out exactly as I had imagined but I love it!

These Ibis birds are so ugly and such a pain at cafe areas around town. But I thought this one looked so funny. It was at least a few meters in the air.
