Taking Time to Smell the Flowers

I'm starting to feel the beginnings of spring, it's starting to warm up and the flowers are starting to bloom. We spent Saturday at the Botanical Gardens and I had a lovely time exploring the garden beds with my camera. Everything was starting to bloom or at least to form buds, and I loved the colours, textures and perfumes everywhere.

And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast
rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.
~ Percy Bysshe Shelley

So many beautiful photos Sara. The snapdragon (?) buds - above the plumbago, is such a lovely perspective.

Each of these is simply beautiful Sara, and what wonderful words! Magnolias are one of my very favorite flowers, and that last shot is just amazing.

Thank you so much for sharing these today at The Creative Exchange.

Have a wonderful day!

YAY for spring!!! Though I'm not completely liking the idea that your approaching spring means winter is on the way here. LOVE these shots... if I had to pick a fave right now, I'd say the second shot. =)
