Scavenger Hunt - Facial Features, Shadow, Spicy, Gold & Fabric

Personal Alert...Another week has gone by and this week I really thought I wouldn't get the Scavenger Hunt done. I've been in such a funk the last few weeks, my son has gone back to school and although you'd think I'd have more time, it's just been so hard to stay motivated. I've helped out in the class room a few times and he's had 1-2 hours of homework a night, crazy for year 1! Anyway I hope I can shake myself out of this. So here's the prompts and my photos for this week.

1. Facial Features
Processed with Isabelle Lafrance Everyday Vintage & Florabella Heirloom & Tranquility textures applied
My son's features reflected in my little vanity mirror from my purse.

2. Shadow
Florabella Bombay  & Sarah Gardner Score textures
We were trying to have a "Where The Wild Things Are" moment. My son's wearing a crown and being the king of wild things. I think I may have left it too late to go outside though and the shadow is a bit too stretched. Might try it again another time.

3. Spicy
Florabella Shabby Scratch II & Burnished textures
A measure of chilli powder! Mmmm, makes me hungry for Chilli Con Carne!

4. Gold
Florabella Senorita & Truffle textures
A gold necklace my husband bought me. :-)

5. Fabric
Cheating a little bit, but it's been a hard week! Showing more of the "Facial Features" photo above, revealing more of the fabric background.

Can't wait to see everyone's interpretations!

For someone in a bit of a funk you sure came up with some fantastic pictures this week. Your sons eyes are so gorgeous and it is ridiculous that someone his age is doing one to two hours of homework a night! My high schooler doesn't have that much hw on a daily basis.

Cheers to what I hope is a funk free week for you. :)

Wow Sara, can't imagine what you would have shown us had you not had such a hectic week! First off, that son of your has the most beautiful blue eyes. And your spicy shot has incredible detail. But the creativity of your "Wild Things" capture....Bravo!
