Personal Alert...Another week has gone by and this week I really thought I wouldn't get the Scavenger Hunt done. I've been in such a funk the last few weeks, my son has gone back to school and although you'd think I'd have more time, it's just been so hard to stay motivated. I've helped out in the class room a few times and he's had 1-2 hours of homework a night, crazy for year 1! Anyway I hope I can shake myself out of this. So here's the prompts and my photos for this week.
1. Facial Features
 |
| Processed with Isabelle Lafrance Everyday Vintage & Florabella Heirloom & Tranquility textures applied |
My son's features reflected in my little vanity mirror from my purse.
2. Shadow
 |
| Florabella Bombay & Sarah Gardner Score textures |
We were trying to have a "Where The Wild Things Are" moment. My son's wearing a crown and being the king of wild things. I think I may have left it too late to go outside though and the shadow is a bit too stretched. Might try it again another time.
3. Spicy
 |
| Florabella Shabby Scratch II & Burnished textures |
A measure of chilli powder! Mmmm, makes me hungry for Chilli Con Carne!
4. Gold
 |
| Florabella Senorita & Truffle textures |
A gold necklace my husband bought me. :-)
5. Fabric
Cheating a little bit, but it's been a hard week! Showing more of the "Facial Features" photo above, revealing more of the fabric background.
Can't wait to see everyone's interpretations!

The detail in the spicy photo is amazing! Great job. Hope next week is a little easier for you.
Really love the colour and comp in that spicy shot. Do hope you're feeling better next week, feeling low is no fun. Take care xx
Like your spicy and gold pics!
Love the set of photos. Facial feature is so striking.
Beautiful photos, love the first one.
His eyes are so blue! They get me each time! And we had similiar thoughts for spicy!
I look forward to your post every single week! Glad you could participate this week inspire of everything. Lovely as usual.
Wow...gorgeous pictures! I love the facial feature perspective.
I love your style. Sorry your week has been less than stellar.
Really gorgeous photos...especially love the shadow...how cool!
Really love this! :D
Well I think this is a gorgeous set! Loved your shadow (love that book!), spicy and gold shots! Great job!
What beautiful pictures. Your son has such beautiful eyes...the shadow one is awesome, too. And the spices! They're all wonderful - thanks for sharing them!
Way to make use of the macro! Great set, love the eyes!
LOVE your spicy shot!
For not being motivated your images are always so lovely. Even your simple spoonful of spice is amazing!! Great line-up!
Sara...that SPICY is WOW...unbelievable. Pictures like that make me drool!
For someone in a bit of a funk you sure came up with some fantastic pictures this week. Your sons eyes are so gorgeous and it is ridiculous that someone his age is doing one to two hours of homework a night! My high schooler doesn't have that much hw on a daily basis.
Cheers to what I hope is a funk free week for you. :)
Great photos! You do a nice job with integrating the textures; I don't do that enough! I really like the composition of your gold photo and your spicy shot. Have a great week!
Beautiful...so very beautiful. I'm loving that shadow shot! Fabulous! (and, wow...that's a ridiculous amount of homework for such young kids!) Hope your week goes better than last week did <3
Great set, I love the first one!
Wow Sara, can't imagine what you would have shown us had you not had such a hectic week! First off, that son of your has the most beautiful blue eyes. And your spicy shot has incredible detail. But the creativity of your "Wild Things" capture....Bravo!
Kathy
