Journey Around the Sun Days 58 through 64

What a great week, this is actually Saturday to Friday last week, I'm always behind because of editing, but throughout this week it felt like all my photo ideas found me. Everyday I'd wonder what I was going to photograph and somehow I wound find something interesting. I spent a lot of time in the garden, with the beginning of spring, I planted some herbs and tomatoe plants. My Freesias are flowering and I bring a new bunch inside every couple of days, I love their fragrance.
I've also had fun playing around with my new textures from Florabella.

Day Fifty Eight
Processed with Paint the Moon Spoonful of Sugar action and Pixel Lounge Champagne texture applied
My mum's chandeliers, taken for the Scavenger Hunt Night prompt.
Day Fifty Nine
Florabella Lady Grey texture applied
Rain drops in a row on a branch. Taken with my 50mm and extension tube.
Florabella Sonata texture applied
We don't get autumn foliage here, besides it's just become spring, but I loved these yellow leaves.
Florabella Chardonnay texture applied
Flowers refracted in raindrops. Taken with my 50mm and extension tube.
Day Sixty
Florabella Stonewash texture applied
A snail shell I found in the garden. It's a pity I've never been able to find any live snails, I think our weather may be too harsh for them. Taken with my 50mm and extension tube.
Day Sixty One
Florabella Golden Autumn II texture applied
Rain drops on a clover plant. Taken with my 50mm 1.8 and extension tube.
Day Sixty Two
Florabella Chardonnay texture applied
Colourful fly. I don't normally take photos of flies, I think there's a bit of a yucky association there, but I couldn't pass up this one, he was basically posing and I loved his colours. Taken with my 50mm 1.8 together with an extension tube 25.
Florabella Latte texture applied
Thyme seedling about to be planted. Taken with my 50mm 1.8 and extension tube.
Florabella B&W Latte texture applied
My son playing with water drops from the tap.
Day Sixty Three
Florabella Willow, vintage Linen and Scratched Antique textures applied
My son loves to collect feathers, and on Thursday he was home sick from school so we took out a selection from his school bag and had fun dropping water onto them and seeing how water repellent they are. He had so much fun and I tried to get some photos. It was hard because any movement shook the drops. I love the refractions of the feather in the drops, I think it makes these drops look like Cowrie shells. Taken with my 50mm 1.8 and extension tube too.
Day Sixty Four
Processed with Isabelle Lafrance Soulful Everyday Vintage action and Florabella Heirloom and My 2econd Skin Peach textures applied
Florabella Raw Silk and Chambord textures applied
Freesias from my garden. Taken with my 50mm and extension tube.

Wonderful pictures Sara, particularly love the water drop ones and you do such a great job of them.
Photo editing must take up a lot of time - I've not tried that yet. I think I'm to impatient and just want my pictures up lol.
Have a good day!!
