Quarterly Top 5 January, February & March 2012

I realised I haven't taken many portraits of my son this quarter. It's been really busy around here lately. He's just finished his first term of year 1. I've been really shocked by the level of work they are doing in the classroom and the amount of homework they've had. So when we got to the weekend I didn't want to follow him around with a camera!
I had a chuckle to myself though when I realised just how many hand shots I've taken of him. It seems to have been our thing lately. I could show you a whole set just of hand shots! I remember thinking to myself at Christmas time that soon he will be growing up and all those childish features, such as his small hands will be growing.

I took this for Earth Hour and also for a Scavenger Hunt prompt "Seven".

He was pretending to be a monster and get me!

Picking flowers for mummy!

Looking into a little mirror!

Taken for the Scavenger Hunt prompt Bliss.  My son is my bliss, he makes every little thing worthwhile and everything wonderful!

These 5 photos are fantastic! I love the first shot; very creative. I love the second one, his eyes are gorgeous! And the mirror shot is so cool!

I remember when you posted the "monster" shot. It's still one of my favorites. I did a double take with the last one for bliss. It's very creative. You have a gift for capturing childhood wonder. All I can say is keep snapping...these photos will be cherished more than you can imagine later on in life. I swear...I blinked and my kids were already in college!

Happy Easter, Sara.
