Top 11 of 2011

It was so hard to choose the top 11 photos of my son for this year. I picked a few from the last quarter because I've shared the others already, a few times, but there are some that are my absolute favorites that I just had to include again.
My son loves watermelon and at Easter time I gave him a huge big bit really just to hold for a photo but he couldn't resist taking a bite. I had to show the storyboard of these shots as I love all his expressions and joy! They remind me of summer, holidays and fun!

Having a sleepy morning with his little doggy. He's had this doggy toy since he was born, a present from his Grandad. It's still one of his favorites. I love his eyes in this photo.

Even though this photo doesn't have his face included it captures this time so well. I love his little hand in my husband's and his dirty fingers from exploring in the gardens.

Taken on the first day of our winter holiday at the beach. We were having so much fun and I love his cheeky grin.

I love this photo of my son and husband. I took it around the time that we were watching The Wonders of the Solar System. I love how he's so small and full of wonder at the world. By the way the star burst is the sun reflecting off the water.

I bought these huge old fashioned lolly pops for my son and his cousin. He was so excited to get one on the holidays.

Playing at the park. Love his eyes here!

Blowing stars and making a wish! I love how magical this photo feels.

Looking through a magnifying glass. This photo really makes me smile.

My son was sick for Halloween, poor boy, but the week after he dressed up in his Captain Feathersword costume, a character from The Wiggles, he doesn't like the wiggles but he loves this costume. I think it's because he loves feathers. I took this in front of the mirror and when my son saw the photo he couldn't believe there were two of him.

I just love this photo of my son taken at the Botanical Gardens. His face, eyes and smile are just so sweet, and I love the beautiful Agapanthus flowers in the background.

So they're my favourites for the year. Sorry about the slightly rushed job and lack of editing but I'm putting this together on an ipad.

Sara, your photos always scream character and/or fun and for that I always enjoy my time here.

I love the magnifying glass photo and the dress up and the watermelon and that sweet face looking over the fence and.........okay all of them. I can def. tell why these were favorites.

You may have inspired me to get my camera out again. I have lost a little bit of the drive to take photos of Bennett, as it is so hard, but I want shots like this, so I will pick it up again.
